Se-Lek Musik gives a warm welcome to KoZY and his first feature on our progressing music stable.

KoZY is an Italian based artist who has certainly making a presence in recent times with an influx of floor commanding releases that have both been of great quality and unique flair. He produces quite a varied interpretation of modern Techno to Tech House and been receiving great praise from industry favs.

On this release he’s teamed up with Se-Lek own DaGeneral who needs little introduction on our music platform whilst being one of the most consistent and insistent artists on the label. He’s recently been enjoying his debut album release with Bageera “The Worlds not Real” and continues his musical power drive week by week.

The pairing of these two artists is also something that has become more familiar as they more than a handful of collaborative releases available that outlines their defined production chemistry.

Their other collaborative work can be heard on imprints such as Layer909, General Surgery, Reflekt Records as well Mauro Picotto Alchemy including a remix of Mauro Picotto himself.

Riot in The Streets (Original) starts this 3-track Ep off with what is a deep rolling Tech House sculpture.
It crosses the areas of Tech House to Deeper House well with hypnotic atmosphere and dynamics that sound huge over a club powered system.

Riot in The Streets (Rolando Hodar Remix) takes center stage next whilst elements from the original version but compounded more in classic techno fashion. Rolando Hodar is a USA based artist and you hear some of his prior works on such as Fun N Deep.

Riot In The Streets (Rick Dyno Remix) is the third featured mix and one which once again really embraces the cross merge of Tech House and Deeper House expressive. It’s a bit dirtier sounding than the original with a deeper sub groove and also emphasized arrangement. Rick Dyno is Netherlands based and is also quite an active production figure with music on labels such as “Reload Black”.
